School Council

Following class elections, each class is represented by 1 child from each class and Mrs Stutters our Head of School. The school council meet every 3 weeks to discuss important issues within our school and make democratic decisions about events that they would like to take place.

In 2023-2024, our school council has...

• Organised events for Red Nose Day
• Raised over £250 with the Easter Egg Raffle and Easter Egg Hunt event. The school council will be deciding as to how the money should be spent.

In 2024-2025, our school council has...

• Raising money for our partner school in Uganda - Kasambira Miracle School: School - Kasambira Miracle
• Raising awareness and money for Wear Red 2024 - Show Racism the Red Card: Wear Red Day - Show Racism the Red Card
• Listening to pupil voice and suggesting improvements for our school
• Worked with ABM (catering company) to suggest new school meals and how to encourage healthy lifestyles
